How many people can meet in a Microsoft Teams video meeting? Is there a limit to internal and external guests?

If guests join on the web does this limit the number of external guests in a meeting?

    I've recently been told that this limit has been raised to 300 and that they are looking to move it up to 1,000 this year - funny thing was, that we had 315 on a Teams call last week............so what's going on?

    Hello Nemanja,

    Can you advise if the max number of people in a meeting is 250 (as per your message) or 300 as per the link you posted (C&P Below)?
