How many people can meet in a Microsoft Teams video meeting? Is there a limit to internal and external guests?

If guests join on the web does this limit the number of external guests in a meeting?

Thank you,

Diane

    Hello Tais, and good day.

Yes, we can now see the 9 Live videos, and you are correct, the screens will adjust as to who is speaking.

I have read that MS will look to expand to more than 9 screens, but no dates have been giving.

    I hope that helps.

    Hello Doug,

So we're only able to see 9 live videos, what happens to other participants that join the meeting?

We're planning a firm-wide meeting and would like all 35 members to attend and see each other.

Will the 9 windows automatically switch to the person talking or raising a hand to talk?

Thank you so much for your help.

    Tais

    Hello Milton and good day.

MS Teams Live Events has a standard limit of 10,0000 participants.

    See link below for details.

    Hello,

What about with Microsoft Teams Live Events ? How many people can attend in one event ? Is there any limits to the number of connected people at the same time in one single event ?

You are correct. They just updated it yesterday 5/14/2020 and it is back to 250.

Thank you for the heads up.

    It is appreciated!
