How many people can meet in a Microsoft Teams video meeting? Is there a limit to internal and external guests?

If guests join on the web does this limit the number of external guests in a meeting?

    Hello

    Some help would be greatly appreciated!

    I have a meeting in August that would I like to host on MS Teams. Can it take 400 participants?

    If so, does it matter if they are internal or external to my organisation?

    I would be hosting from an internal account and sending the link to 400 external email addresses?

    Does this impact the max capacity?

    Can someone tell us what is the maximum number of participants for the new Teams Webinar, please?

    250 for a regular Teams Meeting. Up to 20K for a Live Event.

    I read somewhere 1000 for a Webinar, but it's not clear. Can you please confirm?

    I am a little confused Nemanja stated that it is 250, so not sure if it increased to 1,000. There seem to be conflicting report on what is the maximum capacity.

    Please confirm if it is in fact 1000? This is very important as we are hosting a meeting that might exceed the 250 capacity and we need to confirm that in fact we can invite a 1,000 participants to the meeting taking place in mid June!
