MAC Outlook can't change display name imap in new version

When I switch to the new version of Outlook on my Imac, my name from my imap account will be changed to my e-mail address.

How can i resolve this?

    Same issue. I decided to go to the old outlook until a solution is provided. Its not nice to go by your email rather than your name. I tried the "new profile"suggestion but it didn't work

    Outlook is honestly straight trash. We have the same issue and tons of other issues. Unbelievable that Microsoft could put out such a garbage product.

    I have the same issue. I have tried to change the profile, I have made another profile but the result is same. Also, when I switch to new outlook, not all my accounts are switching. For example if I add a new account when I am in new outlook, and when I switch back, the new account that I have already added is not visible on the old outlook.

    My main concern is Account full name (sender's name) cannot be edited in new outlook. But today I remark that this full name was changed as account description. This change was not made by me. Something is weird and frustrating. It is impossible to edit the account settings.
