MAC Outlook can't change display name imap in new version

When I switch to the new version of Outlook on my Imac, my name from my imap account will be changed to my e-mail address.

How can i resolve this?

    I have the same problem.

    I have tried deleting and re-adding my address, and I've tried syncing with my IOS app to no success.

    Please help Microsoft I would like people to be able to see my name when I email them. What a pain.

    Search really is horrible. If I have to find an old email, I open up Mail for Mac and find it right away. Outlook won't find it at all.

    Syncing is the worst. I was not able to make sync work for folders. Search does not work at all. I am really considering switching back to Old view (the one that was before New Outlook)
