Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
Since then the app has had no hick-ups on any of three devices. I keep my fingers crossed.
Does new email notifications work?

This suddenly started yesterday 3/4/2020.
I have 3 email accounts on my android Outlook app. Outlook.com, Google, my ISP's. The problem only happens with my ISP (comcast.net, IMAP).
Till yesterday night, I can send/retrieve emails from the same server without an issue with Outlook app.
First I noticed Outlook requested to re-enter email password. But it failed. So I deleted account, then added. Failed. I even removed Outlook app and re-installed it. Failed. Google and Outlook account are just fine.
I didn't change anything from my side. I can access Comcast email from Web/Windows 10 mail and even from the same phone using Samsung standard email app.
What was changed and how to solve it? I can use Samsung standard email app but I like Outlook.

Does new email notifications work?
Hi Petr,
I was so glad the inbox works at all, that I did not even notice that I do not get notifications. The inbox continues to work after rebooting.
I brace myself for the next update of the app.
that I did not even notice that I do not get notifications.
Thanks for confirmation. Without nofitications the app is totally useless. I could have used a mobile web mail site instead :-/
I noticed, that settings are sometimes kept in cache, even after deleting the cache. So I advise to reboot or off/on your device after deleting the IMAP account. It worked for me, but I don't know if the connection is secure. My mail provider still allows unsecure connections on top of secure connections. When I check my mail domain with internet.nl (Dutch and English) the Cipher order is not OK.
Do NOT enter the port for IMAP (see my earlier message on okt 11th). Only for SMTP enter the port.
And in my case this worked on Android 10 and also after the recent update to Android 11. I use a google Pixel 4.
