Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
Regarding certain 4.2044.1 that you got, OMS replied to me,
"the new version is not yet available in your region, once it's available you will get it."

This suddenly started yesterday 3/4/2020.
I have 3 email accounts on my android Outlook app. Outlook.com, Google, my ISP's. The problem only happens with my ISP (comcast.net, IMAP).
Till yesterday night, I can send/retrieve emails from the same server without an issue with Outlook app.
First I noticed Outlook requested to re-enter email password. But it failed. So I deleted account, then added. Failed. I even removed Outlook app and re-installed it. Failed. Google and Outlook account are just fine.
I didn't change anything from my side. I can access Comcast email from Web/Windows 10 mail and even from the same phone using Samsung standard email app.
What was changed and how to solve it? I can use Samsung standard email app but I like Outlook.

Here is the final refusal of OfA support:
"I do understand your issue.
You are unable to add your account with Advanced settings and app is failing that way. Simple is working.
At this moment this cannot be checked, we have couple of more imprtant issues related to IMAP that are being working at and ticket as yours wont be looked at by engineering team anytime soon since imact does not exist. Your account works with Simple log in, Advanced issue has nothing to do with GDPR complience and therefor we wont be able to assist you further on this issue at this moment."
... no comment from my side.
Simple is working.
What does that mean?
Please keep up with the subject. of this thread. It is NOT about site improvement!
When using the ANDROID OUTLOOK app you have to configure it manually if you want to use a non Microsoft mail server for your mail domain.
As said earlier:
And this still does work for me now after recent updates.
