Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
It seems to me that Microsoft are now focussed on Azure Cloud computing and professional services. The Consumer space is no longer a priority, and when it comes to Mobile they have even less interest.
I can confirm all your analysis of certificates and TLS versions with my ISP, yet OfA still fails to authenticate/connect. It's a mystery to me why all OfA users are not affected by this problem.
In any event, I gave up on a fix some months ago despite the regular updates. And I agree that BlueMail, GMail and other email clients work flawlessly with the same configuration.
The absense of any effective support is beyond frustrating.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. They definitely have less interest in their Mobile apps. Reminds me of their stint with Windows Phones. Started with enthusiasm then they let them die a miserable death.
Earlier in the year, they changed their Outlook App support format/platform and now it's a disaster.
I once again posted a support request re IMAP and it is now 11 days and they haven't acknowledged my request or replied!
Outlook app support was previously far more effective!
I can recall a support request that got handled quickly, effectively and it reached Level 3 Engineering communicating directly with me.
State of affairs now is So Bad.
