Outlook Android app cannot login IMAP email server.

This suddenly started yesterday 3/4/2020.

I have 3 email accounts on my android Outlook app. Outlook.com, Google, my ISP's. The problem only happens with my ISP (comcast.net, IMAP).

Till yesterday night, I can send/retrieve emails from the same server without an issue with Outlook app.

First I noticed Outlook requested to re-enter email password. But it failed. So I deleted account, then added. Failed. I even removed Outlook app and re-installed it. Failed. Google and Outlook account are just fine.

I didn't change anything from my side. I can access Comcast email from Web/Windows 10 mail and even from the same phone using Samsung standard email app.

What was changed and how to solve it? I can use Samsung standard email app but I like Outlook.

    Hi

    I have same issue with login to me mail server with neu Outlook App.

    Finally I desidetet to find neu app - K-9 Mail, witch was worked in few minutes..

    But after hours fight I decided to tell Your what I think goes wrong with outlook app.

    My server use STARTTLS what can't be chose on this app. I also noticed that my email domain must be the same like as, my server domain, unfortunately one of my email address isn't. I hope that will be useful. Greeting.

    I am not confident its going to keep working though, but lets see.

    Does new email push notification work?

    I'm hopeful that MS will be able to fix the issue. I have noe on this latest version, been able to add personal email accounts. Sending out emails remains impossible.

    I got a message from Outlook support. There's a new version 4.2109.2 available, and they have high hopes. I installed it, and we'll see how it goes for the next 24 hours...
