However the 'reply' seems to be greyed out when I try. So to continue...
When I press the 'battery' button on my Samsung android phone, it consistently says the outlook app is eating 60% of battery power. Similar to the last question in the previous thread; can microsoft advise please:-
a) when a fix for this will be published please? or
b) recommend an equivalent non microsoft product that works well connecting to outlook.com that doesn't voraciously eat battery power?
Any help is appreciated.

Are you using 'contact synchronization' feature ? It seems to drain battery much more when toggled on.

I got support inside the app, the issue is known apparently. It would be nice that Microsoft publishes an update in this stream when the patch is released. I cannot use another application for my business account, my company is forcing enrollment to Intune.
Removed Outlook. Installed Nine. Works great.......better!

Removed Outlook-- replaced with Bluemail. Perfect.
