Whilst using Windows 10 Pro, I am receiving notifications in the notification centre when I have received a new email in Outlook. However, when I click the email in the notification centre it does not open the email.
Please can you help sort this issue. Followed all other forums etc. and these have not helped solve my issue.

I am having this exact same issue as well.
Interesting people! I just got an email, notification popped up in the lower right corner. I clicked it, the outlook icon in task bar started blinking, I clicked on it, and there was another window with the email in it; however, the window only "poped up" when I clicked on it via the task bar.......
so its like a half functioning notification now?
I get exactly this behaviour too.
I get this too, but only sometimes. Half the time when I click the email, it opens in the foreground, and the other half of the time, it opens in the background.
Yo Microsoft... fix this. Yesterday.
You should be able to narrow down the cause by having a computer incrementally install all the Windows Update KBs and checking the functinoality after each update. I posted previously that the issue was resolved with the uninstall and reinstall. As with Ellen, I am experiencing the issue of the message opening in the background. I have to click on the Outlook icon on the taskbar to bring the message to the front. Better than it was, but still not working as it should.
For me, when i click the email notification it opens the email but it opens in the background. Like, if im working in chrome and an email notification comes in and i click it, the email opens but behind chrome instead of over it. Why??? I’m clicking the notification so i can see the email! I might as well just click my inbox then open the email...
