Whilst using Windows 10 Pro, I am receiving notifications in the notification centre when I have received a new email in Outlook. However, when I click the email in the notification centre it does not open the email.

Please can you help sort this issue. Followed all other forums etc. and these have not helped solve my issue.

I am having the same problem for the past few days. I am happy to see that I am in good company, but SO UNHAPPY that there is no resolution for this.  It is quite frustrating!

Same exact problem here. It just started 5 days ago and it's the bane of my existence!!! I can't work efficiently and it's driving me insane. I wish there was a way that Microsoft could get their **** together instead of answering with cookie cutter "troubleshooting" suggestions! Like wake up! This has been going on for a whiiiile just fix it! UGH

FYI - I have had Microsoft support agree that it is an issue. The case is active and this is part of their response:-

"..I don't have a definite resolution for thisbehaviour. As it is an integration between Outlook and Windows, we are checking on both parts..."

I can vouch that it only impacts certain combinations of Windows/Outlook and probably computer chips. My home computer works as expected but that has a later version of Windows (2004). My work computers are older versions and at present cannot update (I did try and it went to the end of the install to say it cannot at present update!).

So Microsoft are aware but after 1 year are still no nearer finding teh cause.

Did you ever get an actionable reply to your question?  I have the same issue, as do many users. Cant find any reasonable reply from MS?
