We had a few users experiencing the same issue. Turns out it was related to work or school accounts.
- Navigate to the "Accounts" section of the Settings app and navigate to the "Access work or school" page. Click the account you want to unlink and press the "Disconnect" button. Follow the prompts to complete the account removal process.
- Navigate to the "Accounts" section of the Settings app and navigate back to the "Access work or school" page. Click the "+" icon to associate an account.
- Enter your credentials and wait for the process to complete.
- Launch Outlook and all should be functioning properly.
This is the true solution to this issue in my opinion. I can confirm that this fixed the issue for me. It is by far the most elegant solution and the only good one. I have read people advising disabling Modern Authentication and whatnot, which is crazy and
I strongly advise against that as it can have a bad effect on the security of the account/the device. Also the currently marked solution is incorrect. Clearing the TPM does absolutely nothing.
Thanks so much Neal! Saved my day when my CEO's laptop was causing me this headache =).
