Missing 'My Templates' Button in Outlook

One user has been using Templates in Outlook for some time, but this morning the 'View Templates' button is missing when composing an email.

On other PC's, I can see that the button is still there and is an Add-In from Microsoft called 'My Templates'

When trying to re-add the Add-In, using the Get Add-Ins option in Outlook, the My Templates Add-in is not available.

Does anyone know if this has been permanently removed?

If so, would anyone know where the saved templates would be?  I have checked in %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates but there is nothing in there.

Many thanks.

This issue is now resolved, It took 3 plus hours for users to notice. Solution is below;

"Just in case, if anyone who is still experiencing this issue, please contact your administrator sign into Exchange Admin Centerand negative to organization > add-ins to disable and re-enable “My Template” add-in. After that, you may need to re-start the Outlook client or refresh the browser if you are using Outlook web APP to check the result."

    Dear Customers,

Greetings. From your replies, we can see that some of you are still running to this issue. To better help you, we'd like to double-confirm the following options are selected:

1, For Company Admin: Please access to Exchange Admin Center (EAC) > organization > add-ins > My Templates is enabled.

2, For Company Admin: Please access to Exchange Admin Center (EAC) > permissions > user roles > in Default Role Assignment Policy detailed page, check if My ReadWriteMailbox Apps option is selected.

3, For End Users: Please Access to Outlook Web App (OWA) > Settings > Options > General > Manage add-ins > My Templates is Turned on.

Please make sure that all of the above settings are configured correctly in your side and feel free to let us know how it goes.

Note: Please also make sure you are using the latest Outlook desktop version. For using the latest OWA, please update your browers to the latest version.

Meanwhile, if the issue persists in your tenant, please provide us the tenant information for further help. For privacy concern, we will send you a private message to collect it. Thanks for your time and understanding.

    Regards,

    Rudy

We have multiple users experiencing the same issue. We spend about an hour per day with MS Enterprise support to no avail.

See below. We do not have the My Templates add-in at all and there is no way to reinstall.

    Hi Rudy,

This problem is persisting on our end as well, the app is enabled on the EAC but the mytemplates addon is no where to be found in the desktop app or the web version.

    Thanks,

    Tony
