Missing 'My Templates' Button in Outlook

One user has been using Templates in Outlook for some time, but this morning the 'View Templates' button is missing when composing an email.

On other PC's, I can see that the button is still there and is an Add-In from Microsoft called 'My Templates'

When trying to re-add the Add-In, using the Get Add-Ins option in Outlook, the My Templates Add-in is not available.

Does anyone know if this has been permanently removed?

If so, would anyone know where the saved templates would be?  I have checked in %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates but there is nothing in there.

Many thanks.

This issue is now resolved, It took 3 plus hours for users to notice. Solution is below;

"Just in case, if anyone who is still experiencing this issue, please contact your administrator sign into Exchange Admin Centerand negative to organization > add-ins to disable and re-enable “My Template” add-in. After that, you may need to re-start the Outlook client or refresh the browser if you are using Outlook web APP to check the result."

    Dear Customers,

They tell us again that disabling and then re-enabling "My Templates" add-in in the EAC is a potential action which can force a server-side cache refresh. And after your admin do this, it will be take up to 3 hours for the add-in to be availble to end-users. During this time, some users will see the add-in before others. After 3 hours, restating your Outlook desktop client or refreshing OWA is also a required action.

As far as I kown, the above way has been helping some users solve this issue. But I also know that this approach will not work for some users. Apperantly, this is a backend related issue, but not all Office 365 tenants are effected. So it needs some time to fix this known issue.

Given this situation, we will keep monitoring it and update you the latest information here.

If you don't want to spend more time waiting, they advised tenant admins to escalates their cases. To escalate the issue, please involve your admin by following these steps:

    1. Login to Office portal > Office 365 Admin Center.
    2. Expend the Support menu > New Service Request.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

    Regards,

    Rudy

I have the same issue as others in this thread. The add-in is nowhere to be found.

My system administrator followed the steps you provided (enabling "My Templates" and "My ReadWriteMailbox Apps") and it did not solve the issue. I still do not have My Templates.

This has greatly slowed down productivity and workflow for my team.
