How to stop calendar notifications repeating every single minute

I use the Outlook app for android App-version 2.2.19 (225) mainline.

When I have a meeting with a reminder 15 minutes before the meeting, I get a notification - this is OK. I then get a reminder 14 minutes before too - not OK. I then get another reminder 13 minutes before - not OK. This goes on. So unless I take action I get 15 notifications. Like most I have my phone in my pocket. I typically recognize the notification without taking my phone out of my pocket.

At least it should be configurable to have 1 or all 15 notifications. I would think most would like to have one notification per meeting.

Hello Everyone - This post is almost a year old now, and as we noticed some folks reporting this issue recently (July/Aug timeframe), we went back and looked if there is any such known issue or bug on our side, we didn't find any. Then we tried to reproduce it with current and older Android devices using latest Outlook app from the store - we were not able to reproduce it either.

So at this time, if you still see this issue with the latest version of Outlook app on your device, then please contact the in-app support for Outlook. Support gets latest logs from your device when you use in-app support, which helps in investigation of an issue. See instructions in this article: Get in-app help for Outlook for iOS and Android - We do want to investigate this issue for a possible fix, but we can only do that if you report it thru in-app support and then work with our Support team.     Happening for me as well. 

    Outlook version 2.2.102 (247).

    Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930A)

    Android 7.0

    AT&T Wireless

    As an aside, I'd also like to know how to disable the "Your meeting has started" and "Your meeting has ended" notifications.

    My problem is that Outlook Android calender gives notifications EVEN WHEN ALL NOTIFCATIONS ARE TURNED OFF. I have Google calendar give notification. I don't want redundant notifications from Outlook

    I am suffering the same symptoms described - dismissed calendar notifications, return after 1 minute.  Dismissed "event has started/ended" notifications repeat. This has been happening for approx the last week - suspected to have started after an auto software update.

    I am running Outlook 2.2.110 on Android 7.0 (Samsung S8+)

    Have tried reinstalling, resetting the cache.
