Attaching pictures in the recent update of outlook app on android are inline and not as attachments.

It's almost a year since this question was posted AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Absolutelly ridiculious
See above. This is ridiculous.
It is BEYOND stupid that MS changed the function of Outlook app in Android so that hitting the ATTACH icon embeds the item rather than ATTACHES it. WHY would you force the receiver to have to then "save the embedded item as PDF" and then do something else with it? Otherwise, the receiver could formerly just drag the attachment off the email and do whatever she wanted with it. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB. Hey, even gmail ATTACHES when the user uses the ATTACH icon. So guess what Microsoft? I'm now using GMAIL over you on my android phone. Whomever you allowed to head up the android app must really hate customers and NO ONE DID ANY OVERSITE over this person!!
This is not true I in the past have always been able to send a photo as an attachement. Something has changes and it is much more clumbsy. I customers don't want to receive photos with in the email it affects the layout in the email and it increase the amount of time correct.
You are correct, it did used to send always as attachments and then there was an Outlook update. For me since then a single pic is sent as an attachment, and multiple pics send as inline. I use my android Outlook everyday to send pic to my workstation from the production line and it bothers me something incredible. It was faster to send pics via wifi email, and less fiddly than transferring them via cable or Bluetooth. Instead of sava all attachments, I need to right click on each one and save image as. grrr Microsoft grrr .
We need to start posting this in all social media and we might get their attention to fix this!
