Outlook app on android is attaching pictures as inline and not as attachments

I've rated in 1 star, and left a review stating this is the reason why.  I send emails from my Android phone all the time to my work email, and it puts all the pictures in-line of the email.  This removes the file name of the picture and makes it so I have to double click on each picture, then right click, then save-as-picture.  With attachments I could save all 20+ pictures from an email in one second, to the correct folder, not to My Pictures every time.  This is insane to not be an option.

The inline picture problem just started last week (mid Aug 2019); before all pix sent from Outlook were attached as jpeg. The way around it is to send from another email platform like gmail instead of Outlook. Still a pain.

This problem started for many people in late 2017. I need to use Exchange in my work so as to keep continuity - I can't be sending replies and forwards from my other accounts.. I save my pics to DropBox now (won't use One Drive because of this issue). 

What is so incredibly frustrating with all of this is Microsofts utter silence on the matter.

Just found a fix to the problem I was having

Outlook app not attaching photo images as attachments 

I just deleted the mobile app (I don't use it anyway) 

Log in through your android browser as if your on a PC 

Go to attachment

Photo from gallery

Documents

Then gallery again

Pic your image & attach

This should be a lot simpler

But it works
