Outlook app on android is attaching pictures as inline and not as attachments

Hi

Attaching pictures in the recent update of outlook app on android are inline and not as attachments.

Could you please help!!

    Not only is this a problem to not being able to make a real attachment, but have you also noticed that adding photos can only be done 1 photo at a time when in an Outlook messa,ge so you have to repeat this procedure for each photo you need to add... and still they are only in the email and not as an attachment. Like all people have mentionned... who thought of this? Come On!!!

    If it helps anyone I just use gmail to mail pics I want to outlook and then forward from there, given up hope of them ever fixing this in the app. Yeah you need to wait an extra minute but you can then forward a single mail with all attached like normal without having to go back to laptop or PC to recompose the whole lot. 

    As for who thought of this, I think the answer is no one as it would take about 3 seconds for someone to realise it is a bad idea if they actually thought about it.

    I disagree, this has been done on purpose. What is so very irksome about it is Microsoft chooses to let everyone just suffer the consequences without explaining the reason behind it. If a fix were actually in the works they'd have tried to soothe their customer base by saying so. Or at least I, as a business manager, assumes this is the way any good company would naturally treat their customer base. 

    ...Right?

    This is the dumbest thing i`ve ever seen in a mobile app !!!! seriously you guys can not do better than this ... Frustrating as hell, do something faster or delete this stupid app .

    For bugs and sudden stops we said ok, fine ... but attaching images this way !!!!

    This is absolutely ridicules. This post is from 2017 and it still isn't fixed?! I only have this app because I am required to for work.  I send a lot of photos for my job by email and having the embedded into the body of the email is maddening.

    Why can I not properly attach a pic  to an email with the app? Why has this not been addressed?

    Maybe apple products would work better...
