We have recently enrolled our entire company in to Microsoft's Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for Office365.

Once we enrolled the users that are using Android devices their email stopped working on their native and third party email clients almost immediately.

This is a known issue with MFA for Office365, and Microsoft could only advise us to use the Outlook app.

We gladly complied for ALL of our Android users.

Now we are facing a slew of complaints from these users about attaching pictures as inline only.

As mentioned by many others in this thread, often times pictures do not even reach their intended recipient.  They only display the word "Image" or a red "X".

This is very concerning that this issue as been an open one for so long.  I have to tell my colleagues that we are sacrificing functionality for the sake of security.  The PR we receive will be terrible.

I have not caught this issue sooner because I have not had any problems using the iOS version for the past couple of years.

Agreed - this is VERY dumb.  In line pasting of the picture is dumb -- half of my contacts cant see beyond a red X where the picture is supposed to be = but an attachment is always openable.  MS should have that stupid in-line picture pasting as an OPTION, not as the ONLY option -- they should have sending photo as an ATTACHMENT as the other option, but guessing that is too much work for Microsoft's software engineers, to have two options - they are very busy, and besides, they know better than all of us, due to their superior intelligence, lol)....

The solution is use a different app for email.

Outlook = no good for attaching photos.
