Attaching pictures in the recent update of outlook app on android are inline and not as attachments.

It's May 2018 and why is this is still an issue?
In my case the answer is to use Gmail when you need to send photos from a phone as it sends the photos as attachments. This is painful for a person who has been so deep into the Microsoft world.
this is beyond ridiculous. You put in a feature that apparently NO ONE asked for. you then direct us to UserVoice to listen to our feedback. However UserVoice doesn't even recognize that I am ALREADY signed in with my business account and wants to force me to create ANOTHER MS account just to provide feedback that, apparently is not really "listened" to.
This does work! But doesnt work so well when replying to another email... in which case printing the photo as .pdf and attaching as a FILE and not a PHOTO will work.
Yes it seems to work for one photo but attaches it to a new email. However when you try to attach several, it put them back inline again and not as attachments.
The format is beyond stupid. Hard to believe some engineer thought this was a good idea, then some nit wit signed off on it. I have to use Gmail to send images as attachments. You hear that MS? Gmail does what ur app can't. ur impacting users productivity. Geez, fix this crap.
I agree. The same. Microsoft pls fix this ASAP. April and still no fix? :(
