Outlook app on android is attaching pictures as inline and not as attachments

@anyone who is still on this post. the feature request on the Uservoice seems to have been removed, does anyone know why?

This seems to indicate users really have no voice. It doesn't even seem fair for users to come to this community, just to be given non-answers and then pushed off to post in a separate place.

Needs to be resolved immediately. Microsoft you're losing customers...FAST!!

I found the solution, at least on my Galaxy S8.

I have two different email apps, one for Outlook and one for Yahoo. The Yahoo one is the default email app that comes with the phone and you assign email addresses to it. From my Gallery, I select all the images I want and then share them to the Yahoo email app which will give me an option to send it to any email I want. I type my Outlook email and it will send all my pictures as easily drag and droppable attachments in my Outlook.

It's dumb that a multi-billion dollar company can't just fix their stupid app but that's how you get around this frustrating issue.

so was trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone today as this was happening to me for the first time, up to now I just select the pics I wanted and they came through as attachments. now its only working that way for single pictures and only after you close the app and then reopen it by sending the pic to the program from the gallery. when you select from gallery and attach it will attach the single file but when you select 2 or more or attach from the outlook program itself it adds the picture to the body of the mail which is ****. have been sending photo's through outlook for years on the phone now and have only had this issue today so from what I can tell its a bug and as usual they are ignoring it and probably blaming android which is **** as well.
