Same problem here. When i mean attach a photo, it should come in to email as an attachment. This will allow me to send as photo .jpg file to someone. Having it into the body of the message is useless . Please fix immediately.

Temporary solution to your problem, but you can choose to share the pictures with messages instead of outlook and then send them to your email with SMS.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Craig,

Based on the description that you provided, this is how attaching images or files works in Outlook for Android. However, we would like to hear from you. We encourage you to post your request on UserVoice, under the appropriate category, or vote and add your comments to similar requests. We’re listening and we really appreciate your feedback.

    Regards.

Seriously!!! now I can't forward myself several pictures and then "save attachments in PC Outlook, I have to manually right click each one to save as picture.   This is useless!   So now I have to use gmail to email to my outlook work account. :(

    Thank you, Jordi!

A temporary fix that works, but Microsoft needs to accept that this 'feature' is ridiculous! Thank you for helping me retain my sanity in the meantime.

This entire thread is about that question.  The thread has been answered over & over.  Outlook will not send pictures etc. as attachments - it will only send them inline.  You must choose a different email account (e.g. Gmail) in order to send as attachment.
