Cannot print from outlook 2016.

Hello,

I have been with the support team multiple times and we still cannot figure out why I cannot print from my Outlook App.

We have tried resetting the print spooler, updating Outlook, updated any and all drivers on my computer, temp files seem to be fine with full permissions on my account. I am kind of at my wits end with this, the only way i can print is by emailing the documents to my printer, and that is such a waste of paper because i really only need to print to PDF most of the time, but it will not function.

My printer works with every other application, and it will print from outlook when open in a web browser.

I have noticed that my outlook is a 32-bit version running on 64-bit windows, and while i have read that is should function and have no issues in this configuration I am curious if the smaller memory available in the 32-bit version could be causing my issues?

grasping at straws here but I don't know what else we can do.

    I would recommend updating back to the latest version (File, Office Account, Update Options, Update Now).  If you are seeing the tiny font bug in the reading pane just restart Outlook a couple times to clear that up.  

    If permissions are restricted on Temp then I agree that you should fix that next to continue troubleshooting.  This is how it looks on my machine.  If you cannot add or edit then maybe try Disable Inheritance and convert permissions to explicit and then add at least what I have below.

    Good Morning,

    The office got real busy yesterday and i just got back around to trying this.

    i checked again that the temp folder was set to read only

    I assume that this is the issue, since the outlook file is in the temp folder, however it isn't being allowed to add/edit any information?

    based on whats here does that seem like i have the right idea?

    Here is the error i was given when i removed inheritance and tried to convert the permissions to explicit. 

    (Failure to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied)

    Not sure why I can't change any of the permission settings, i have full permissions/administrator privileges. 

    I have changed it back to how it was before i started messing with the inheritance, so hopefully i didn't cause any new issues. 

    ***Not sure why, but it will not let me add screenshots that i took.**** 

    i lost the permission error, because i only copied it into this chat rather than saving it, but i don't see anything weird as far as this shows?

    Also folder Properties shown below.

    After seeing your folder permissions those are just fine.  You don't need to make any permissions changes.  Your account has Full Access so it can write to that path.  I show the same Attributes on your tab so that is not an issue in this case.  

    I'm not sure what to suggest next.  I'll ask my peers if they have any suggestions and let you know.

    I noticed that my Printer isn't on the HP windows 10 Compatible list when i was looking earlier today....

    not sure why it would have worked perfectly for 4 months prior and then stopped after a Microsoft update if that is the main issue, but i have also made a post on their forum to see if anyone on the printer side has any ideas.

    EDIT: I have already updated to the latest drivers from HP, and I re-downloaded the entire printer / printer software yesterday (7/10/18)  to see if that helped. no change.

    That's a good idea to post in the HP forums.

    I looked through our forum reports for others like this.  I see one in this thread that the customer narrowed down to a particular font causing the issue.  If he changed documents to a different font it worked.  H was also seeing some items print but not all.  He also noted that the issue for him started in the Win 10 June Public Update kb4284848.  My machines do not have that update yet.  It might be a long shot but you might try removing that update if you have it or see if the font matters.
