Cannot print from outlook 2016.

Hello,

I have been with the support team multiple times and we still cannot figure out why I cannot print from my Outlook App.

We have tried resetting the print spooler, updating Outlook, updated any and all drivers on my computer, temp files seem to be fine with full permissions on my account. I am kind of at my wits end with this, the only way i can print is by emailing the documents to my printer, and that is such a waste of paper because i really only need to print to PDF most of the time, but it will not function.

My printer works with every other application, and it will print from outlook when open in a web browser.

I have noticed that my outlook is a 32-bit version running on 64-bit windows, and while i have read that is should function and have no issues in this configuration I am curious if the smaller memory available in the 32-bit version could be causing my issues?

grasping at straws here but I don't know what else we can do.

    I was able to narrow it down to a particular font my graphic designer had used in our email signatures and selected Word document templates. Once i substituted a common font the documents printed so at least i had a workaround. 

    And then the latest Windows update hotfix came along in August 2018 and coincidentally the issue vanished for documents with the offending font as well.

    ***Finger crossed*** for now it seems to be working normally!!! 

    I will update if i run into any issues, but after some tests this morning i can print anything from my outlook again.

    do you know what patch it was that made it go away - I'm still having the issue and as far as I know I'm up to date with patching.

    and yes it does appear to be a font issue as I can print the offending email from by clicking on the "click here to open it in a web browser"

    and in some way it does appear to be a security issue as the problem goes away when I open Outlook as an administrator
