Hello,
I have been with the support team multiple times and we still cannot figure out why I cannot print from my Outlook App.
We have tried resetting the print spooler, updating Outlook, updated any and all drivers on my computer, temp files seem to be fine with full permissions on my account. I am kind of at my wits end with this, the only way i can print is by emailing the documents to my printer, and that is such a waste of paper because i really only need to print to PDF most of the time, but it will not function.
My printer works with every other application, and it will print from outlook when open in a web browser.
I have noticed that my outlook is a 32-bit version running on 64-bit windows, and while i have read that is should function and have no issues in this configuration I am curious if the smaller memory available in the 32-bit version could be causing my issues?
grasping at straws here but I don't know what else we can do.
Please hellp!!!!

By the way - I found this thread since my hubby was having exactly the same problem. Following the clue about the font, we determined it happens only when his signature block, which had an obscure font in it, was present. I was able to test by changing the font from Venera (a third party font) to a Windows font (Tahoma, in my case), and it printed his emails (we tested 3) just fine. Prior to searching the web, we had already installed all updates for Windows and Office 365 Pro Plus, and even completely uninstalled Office and reinstalled.
I can share sample files if they will help. We finally removed the third party font from his computer, so even his older emails just convert to a different font and things print (if a bit differently). By the way - this is just standard Windows 10 and Office 365 with normal updates, and he is pretty sure it started happening recently, but we don't know for sure since he worked from home a lot.
i have been trying every new update to see if that fixes the issues, so i don't show any other updates from around the time the issues started.
should i uninstall the latest windows update before i update to the newest version? not sure if that would do anything helpful, or if i should just move forward with the update from yesterday?
i show update (KB4343669) as the lastest Windows update, with security update (KN4338819) installedat the same time.
For some reason its showing that i updated yesterday, however unless it did it automatically after i left i didnt update.. i still also show "Update & Shutdown" when i open the start menu, which leads me to believe there are still updates the system wants to run.
thank you for your help and I hope we can figure out how to fix this!!
Ill try the latest update this afternoon when i am not buried, and ill let you know the results.
I would not expect the update KB4103729 would likely cause the issue because it is specific to Adobe Flash. The regular Windows update at that time should have been KB 4103727 or another one of those on the left navigation on that page. If you locate that one you could test removing it as the last change before the issue started. To remove it go to Programs in the control panel, View Installed Updates, right click on it and click Uninstall.
If the machine is pending updates it might be best to go ahead and update. Since we are not seeing other reports with the May update I think its probably not the cause. I'm checking with my peers in Windows if they are seeing any reports.
Hmmm. I do not show that Particular update on my system, and when checking my emails i can pin point when it stopped working properly to 5/11/18. ( the date i started using the HP E-print to work around my print issues)
i show security update (KB4103729) as the only update prior to my issues, and it was done the day before (5/10/18).
Is it likely, or even possible that this security update is the issue?
If so, how do i go about removing it safely?
Second question... my system has a cumulative update/ another security update it wants to do and i'm tempted to ignore them based on this issues the last updates have caused... advice? also when shutting down the computer how can you force close an update? when this issue first occurred my system forced me to update before it would shut down, as it once again is doing for these new updates.
