Cannot print from outlook 2016.

Hello,

I have been with the support team multiple times and we still cannot figure out why I cannot print from my Outlook App.

We have tried resetting the print spooler, updating Outlook, updated any and all drivers on my computer, temp files seem to be fine with full permissions on my account. I am kind of at my wits end with this, the only way i can print is by emailing the documents to my printer, and that is such a waste of paper because i really only need to print to PDF most of the time, but it will not function.

My printer works with every other application, and it will print from outlook when open in a web browser.

I have noticed that my outlook is a 32-bit version running on 64-bit windows, and while i have read that is should function and have no issues in this configuration I am curious if the smaller memory available in the 32-bit version could be causing my issues?

grasping at straws here but I don't know what else we can do.

Please hellp!!!!

    Hi TH2018,

If you’ve updated the drivers on your computer, I suggest you try the following:

Open control panel > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers

Right click on the printer which is print to PDF and choose set as a default printer

    Regards,

    Huni

    Hi TH2018,

You can try using the printer fix tool and see if it helps:

Troubleshoot problems with devices and printers

Meanwhile, if you’re an Office 365 for business user, you can try to use the Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRa) which can help you automatically diagnose and fix a range of Outlook problems.

If the issue persists, I’d like to confirm what’s the detailed version of your Office 365 programs. You can check it in Outlook File > Office Account > next to About Outlook

    Regards,

    Huni

I have attached an example of what the event viewer shows me.  Doesn't seem to tell me anything meaningful, but i also do not know what the P Values stand for.

My printer works perfectly fine with every other application (Word, Adobe, Photoshop, Internet pages etc...)

i only have errors with the outlook app, when i open my email through the web browser it will print with no issues but not with the dedicated Application.

When opened in safe mode it still gives the same error code. :(

Is there anything helpful shown in Event Viewer (for the time when this problem occurs?)

If you hold the Ctrl Key when starting OL, to Force safe mode, is the problem then replicated?

Do any other Office components give the same error when printing?
