Running Outlook on the iMac causes the screen to flicker and eventually black out and reduce to half/split screen display.

If I don't run the Outlook app the Mac runs like clockwork.

With Outlook active, at some point the flickering begins and then gets progressively worse until the screen is completed fuzzed or it pops back to a half black screen (which continues to flicker intermittently - more often than not)

Whilst it sounds like a hardware issue (and I've ordered a new Mac thinking it was!) it appears to be tied to Outlook.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

3.3 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M395 2048 MB

Mac OS 10.14.1 (18B75)

Outlook 16.19

Rebooting seems to clear it until we run Outlook again, then the cycle continues.

    I have exactly the same problem and after scouring the internet, resetting SMC, NVRAM, PRAM and deleting other apps that may be causing the issue I have narrowed it down to Outlook.

    This needs a resolution soon, the issue is obviously with Outlook, not all these Macs that people are having the same problem with.

    My spec:

    Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

    3.2 GHz Intel Core i5

    16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

    AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB

    Mac OS 10.14.5

    Outlook version 16.26

    Hi Have already gone all through this with Microsoft, after four or five lengthy phone calls, I was told that Microsoft were aware of the situation, but as it affected such a small number of users I.E only people with late 2015 27 inch IMAC's, that they were not prepared to do anything about it.

    I have found that if you run Outlook in low resolution mode the flickering issue stops, its not a good fix but better than nothing.

    I have the same exact issue, and I can't even read a single email without my screen is going bananas. The only way to resolve it, is to change screen settings to another resolution and back to standard settings, but as soon as you go back to Outlook again and click on anything, it comes back.

    I've been in contact with Outlook support in several cases, even sent them a video demonstrating this issue in detail, but nothing happens. I need Outlook for my work, even if I am working in a Macintosh environment. It surprises me that they resolve issues with badly placed menu items before something that is actually and physically harms your computer?

    I have the following hardware: 

    Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132)

    iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

    4 GHz Intel Core i7

    32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
