Outlook Android App E-Mail Notification Sounds

Can you please fix the Outlook Android App incoming notifications sounds?  Cannot select Outlook E-Mail sound anymore in new sounds.  Outlook EMail and Outlook EMail Sent are both in the sent sounds.  The Outlook sounds got erased from new emails list in a past update and have never been replaced.

    I came across another way to re-add the Outlook notification sound back for Android users.

    ON PC:

    If you have Outlook on your PC navigate to - This PC > OSDisk(C:) > Windows > Media. There will be a .WAV file called Windows Notify Email.wav. *Feel free to open it to confirm its the desired tone*         

    Save this to your One Drive or Google drive.

    ON PHONE:

    On the Sound setting within Notification category on the phone app hit the "Currently Set" tab. At the bottom right there is a (+) button, once you hit that, it allows you to search your One Drive / Google Drive for sounds/tones. Navigate to where you copied the .WAV file and load it. It will populate as one of "My Sounds"

    Hope this helps anyone who is still looking for a solution.

    I was able to solve this problem by adding a custom notification sound to my phone. I have a Samsung S10e I don't know if this works on all phones. This is more of a work-around than a real solution but it's easy and doesn't require you to reinstall the app or remove and re-add your email account.

    The problem: If you change the incoming email notification sound away from the default Outlook sound you can't change it back. When you go back in to the notification settings to choose an incoming mail sound the Outlook sound is not listed as an option, the only sounds available are the sounds that come pre-installed with the phone.

    Solution: On my phone's internal storage there is a top-level folder called Notifications, it was initially empty. Any sound I put in there will be listed in the above-mentioned list of sounds you can choose from when setting your Outlook incoming notification sound. From my Windows 10 computer I got the file "C:\Windows\Media\Windows Notify Email.wav" and copied it to my phone (I used Dropbox but you can copy it however you want) and put it in the Notifications folder. In the Outlook app now I can select that sound as my new mail notification, as seen at the bottom of this screenshot:

    In case of need, these are original sounds, taken from apk file.

    You can copy them to sdcard\notification folder

    New Mail

    Sent mail

    Calendar reminder

    This is by far the easiest method! Only make sure your notification are on sdcard or internal storage.

    I use the web version of Outlook on Android. Currently there is no option to set a sound when a new e-mail arrives?!
