Can you please fix the Outlook Android App incoming notifications sounds?  Cannot select Outlook E-Mail sound anymore in new sounds.  Outlook EMail and Outlook EMail Sent are both in the sent sounds.  The Outlook sounds got erased from new emails list in a past update and have never been replaced.

Definitely not just Chinese phones. I have a Moto G4 Plus and I'm having the same issue, as of the update that just downloaded today, which is 3.0.107.

Same issue here and I'm using a Pixel 3XL. It's a bug and it resurfaces time and time again. Trying to explain this to the people in the support chat in the app is pretty useless too, as they default to canned responses as IF it's an account problem.

The recommendation to wipe the app and re-add accounts is insane. I won't keeping wiping my mail app and setting up multiple accounts for something like this. Oddly enough, I have no issues with the app's outgoing mail sound. It's almost as if the update didn't include the new mail sound or some section of the code lost the pointer to it.

It's a RECURRING PROBLEM MICROSOFT, FIX IT once and for all.

    Yeah.

I'm not planning on holding my breath.

I uninstalled and reinstalled from the Play store (no messing with previous versions) and it brought the sound back so I can live with that for now.

I like having my Outlook/Hotmail emails compartmentalized in their own program but it's not like I couldn't just move them over to the GMail app if this goes on for too long.

But hey, at least they admitted it's their problem rather than blaming it on the phone manufacturer/android implementation like they did to the other guy who spoke to them about it.

The support told me exactly the same two months ago!!!

And instead of a fix it got worse with the latest update. Before the update at least the standard sound would be played with incoming mails. But since the update there's no sound at all for incoming mails.

It seems solving this issue has no priority for Microsoft.

Reply to self to add further information.

Having spoken to Outlook support is seems this is a known issue affecting "a small subset of users" and a fix is on the roadmap.

No timeline for that fix was given but i was advised to keep the app set to auto update to ensure that it was received as soon as the update was available.

Same thing here (Xaiomi Mi Note 3 10.0.3.2)

I had been receiving emails and getting sounds and with no intervention on my part they stopped. I saw my phone light up but there was no sound...

...I put it down to a glitch and left it. All the next day it had no sound on receiving emails, I eventually checked the setting in Outlook (Android platform, official app) and it said :-

    New email sound

    None

Which I couldn't change as it takes me to the wrong screen, the Sent Email sound works correctly.

I looked back in the updates list from Google Play and found an Outlook update round about the time that this issue started. Which would be update 3.0.107 (331)

I uninstalled and reinstalled and the sound is back to default but you cannot change it as it still takes me to the wrong screen as shown in this video.
