I don't know what to do anymore, apart from migrating to google: ONE (and only one so far) of my contacts keep duplicating itself in my people list. No matter how many times I delete it, and where: I tried to delete both online on people.live.com and on the W10 people app. Multiple copies keep reappearing after a few hours.
This has now reached intolerable levels of frustration and I will move everything to google if a reasonable solution is not provided by MS quickly.

Organizing and accessing contact information in Outlook.com

I ditched my outlook.com account and the email address associated with it. However I don't use outlook.com for emails anyway, so it was not a problem for me. The problem was reinstalling everything on the phone and MS Outlook.
And what about paid apps? How to transfer them?
No idea.
In the future perhaps you should not use your Microsoft Account for anything that you're not willing to ditch.
I have noticed new behaviour of re-appearing contacts: all contacts from 'Skype Contacts' subfolder in Outlook.com has been automatically deleted and moved to Trash folder. New Skype contacts (added in Skype recently) appear for some time in Outlook.com contacts, but after a couple of minutes move to Trash folder; 'Skype Contacts' subfolder disappears after that. Moreover, some old Skype contacts still re-appearing from time to time in Outlook.com contacts (with recreation of 'Skype Contacts' subfolder) and moving after short period of time to Trash folder (with subsequent disappearing of 'Skype Contacts' subfolder).
I've also managed to delete my empty 'Google Contacts', 'Exchange Contacts' and 'Facebook Contacts' subfolders from Outlook.com via Microsoft Outlook desktop application (it wasn't possible before).
Same problem here but with only 1 contact on my Lumia 920. It re appears every day.
I have tried everything on Contacts app, Outlook.com, Skype, web.skype.com
Need help here.
