Contact keeps re-appearing despite deleting, multiple copies!

I don't know what to do anymore, apart from migrating to google: ONE (and only one so far) of my contacts keep duplicating itself in my people list. No matter how many times I delete it, and where: I tried to delete both online on people.live.com and on the W10 people app. Multiple copies keep reappearing after a few hours.

This has now reached intolerable levels of frustration and I will move everything to google if a reasonable solution is not provided by MS quickly.

    Microsoft is aware of this. The most recent communication I had with the Outlook.com team (November 17) is that the product group is investigating. I've asked if there's an update I can share.

    I see it also!

    Microsoft - Please tell us something, is there a fix in the works, is anyone looking at this???  I just had to delete 80 more replications, it's a pain in the butt.

    Hi all,

    Do you have this error message too, when displaying the social networks connexions settings? (I've had this msg since the beginning of the new Outlook.com migration)

    I ask this because imo this is related to ours problems. It shows well that things aren't "put in place" concerning the contact management...

    All I wanted to do was get away from GOOGLE LAND - and now, if I can't get this problem cleared up, it looks like I'm going to have to go back.  The sad thing is that if you read thru these postings/forums, etc., this problem has been going on FOR YEARS.

    This should be a simple procedure.  I just want to have my Outlook Contacts and eliminate the Google contacts that keep appearing and multiplying.  I closed my Google Account, so why, why, why is this happening?  Plus, the contacts keep multiplying in the Skype contact list AND I HAVE NEVER USED SKYPE. 

    So now I have an iphone that is being impregnated by contacts out the wazoo as well as my PC.  Who do you have to know to get an answer to this OBVIOUSLY COMMON PROBLEM?
