Since Microsoft "upgraded" Outlook Live a month or so ago, I've had problems editing details, such as email addresses and phone numbers, for people in my Contacts list. For instance, one contact's first name, last name, personal email, cell phone and two home phone numbers are editable: if I wanted to, I could put my cursor in the box and delete or type over them. But for some reason, the business number, which is no longer valid since the person is no longer employed, can't be deleted. The box is grayed out, and when I try to highlight the number with my mouse in order to delete it, the mouse doesn't work. This is true for other contacts in my list as well. Has anyone else had this baffling and frustrating problem?

this 'response' is concerning Outlook Desktop (as part of MS Office), so like I said, wasn't sure it would help anyone.
Click around and see if you can get to the link that opens the original contact form. I found it by doing that....best of luck.
Have you googled 'how to change contact information in outlook live'?
i specifically specified this was an issue with outlook live. most all replies seem to be referring toother oulook facilities so don'[t really apply to the issue i posted. specifically the loss of the plus sign infront of distributionlist that allows that list to be editted on the fly. how can i post so i dont get caught up in all the OTHER EXTRANEOUS "outlook" facllity issues?

Well I am now confused by all these different outlook possibilities.
I am referring to the People page in Outlook.com
Im not sure whether Outlook live is something different. but I do know that the bug does
exist on outlook.com free email.
Ive figured out that I do use outlook live, and have just discovered that If I delete the entire contact and then create it as a new contact and re-type in all the info,
the plus sign does now appear. It is rather cumbersome to do this, but at least it can be done.
