Calendar event showing up the wrong timezone

Hi there, I refer to the screenshots below. The user, Pamela, sends out a calendar invite to both Jeff and Kok Guan, specifying the correct timezone UTC +0800. However, what Jeff views this event on his Mac running on Yosemite 10.10.2 is the UTC +0000 timezone, Monrovia, Reykjavik. The time indicated is displayed 6am instead of the actual 2pm, despite showing a notification that the event will commence at 2pm on Jeff's Mac. How do i go about correcting/removing the UTC +0000, Monrovia, Reykjavik, timezone stamp. Appreciate some help with this. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the server update won't fix existing meetings automatically.  However, users MAY be able to fix it themselves if they find the original meeting invitation (could be in Deleted Items) and re-accept the meeting(s) with the "UTC" time zones.  (Let us know if that works.)

If that doesn't work, they will have to ask the organizer to re-send the invitation.  (Organizer just has to open the meeting on his/her calendar and click "Send Update." Make sure to "Edit Series" if it is a recurring meeting.)

    Hi!

    I have Outlook for Mac version 15.21.1 and version 14.3.279.4002 on the Exchange server i.e it should contain the fix that would be released in december 2015. But I have the same problem as you have discussed earlier i.e. when I create a one-day event in my Iphone, that same event ends up one day earlier in my outlook.

    For example:

    1. I create an event the 5:th of may (thursday) in my iPhone
    2. The event is placed on wednesday in outlook (i.e the 4:th of may)
    3. When I look at the tooltip belonging to the event in outlook calendar it says "00:00 thursday - 00:00 friday" i.e. the correct time
    4. When I open the event it says that it starts the 4:th of may at time 22:00 and end 4:th of may at time 22:00 and the timezone is UTC Coordinated universal time

    What do I have to do to make the event occur at the correct day in outlook?

    Can you check with your Exchange provider (Network Solutions, according to your old post) and see if they've installed the December 2015 Cumulative Update?  There are no pending time zone fixes for either Mac or Exchange because they have all been released.  If Network Solutions has deployed the latest CU, then post here again, and we'll re-open the investigation.

    This may be the case but Outlook for Mac (part of Office 365) does not include the fix.  I can add appointments in GMT-500 or GMT-600 (Central Standard and Central Daylight time on my Android phone and when the appointment is read in Outlook for Windows, it shows the correct time zone.  When I open the appointment in Outlook for Mac, it resets to UTC time zone.  I'm still looking for a fix from Microsoft.

    The server fix for EAS was part of the December CU of Exchange.
