Calendar event showing up the wrong timezone

Hi there, I refer to the screenshots below. The user, Pamela, sends out a calendar invite to both Jeff and Kok Guan, specifying the correct timezone UTC +0800. However, what Jeff views this event on his Mac running on Yosemite 10.10.2 is the UTC +0000 timezone, Monrovia, Reykjavik. The time indicated is displayed 6am instead of the actual 2pm, despite showing a notification that the event will commence at 2pm on Jeff's Mac. How do i go about correcting/removing the UTC +0000, Monrovia, Reykjavik, timezone stamp. Appreciate some help with this. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the server update won't fix existing meetings automatically.  However, users MAY be able to fix it themselves if they find the original meeting invitation (could be in Deleted Items) and re-accept the meeting(s) with the "UTC" time zones.  (Let us know if that works.)

If that doesn't work, they will have to ask the organizer to re-send the invitation.  (Organizer just has to open the meeting on his/her calendar and click "Send Update." Make sure to "Edit Series" if it is a recurring meeting.)

    Enclosed a meeting. Created on an iPhone. When sync with Exchange the appointment is set with a timezone set to Cheturnal. I have a Macbook Air with Yosemite 10.10.3. Timezone is set to Amsterdam and my client is Microsoft Outlook 15.11.

    Can one (or more) of you that is seeing the Chetumal time zone please post your .ics file on this forum?  Is this only happening for all-day events?

    Here are instructions:

    1. Find one of these events in your calendar
    2. Drag the event to your Finder desktop.  That will create an .ics file.
    3. Open the .ics file with any text editor (TextEdit will work fine).
    4. Copy and paste the contents here in this thread

    If there is anything sensitive in the .ics file that you don't want made public (email address, meeting name, people's names, etc.), you can just write over them with "X" characters before you post it here.  We mainly need the time zone and event time info, so any personal data is irrelevant.

    Please also provide OS, time zone, and mail client of meeting organizer and whether iOS was anywhere in the mix.  Chetumal was a recently added time zone, so we'll have to investigate what is going on.

    Bruce_NA, we have heard of the all-day event created on iOS showing up one day off, but those same people said the recent server fix resolved it.

    Damn! Really? None of my users didn't report it yes, but to be honest I didn't deploy the 15.11 at large yet! By chance 95% of my users are still on 15.10 and I'll stick on this version until Microsoft correct the bug they just apparently created in 15.11!

    I have the same problem (again). Two weeks ago this problem was solved (Exchange Server Fixed?). Events created on an iOS device where correctly displayed in Outlook for the Mac (version 15.10) in the correct Time Zone. 

    After the upgrade to the new version 15.11 the Time Zime Error was back! It's different because now events created on iOS devices are now created in Exchange Online with time zone Chetumal. Checked everything, and all devices are configured on Time Zone Amsterdam.

    I am also using 15.11, honestly not sure if it happened after upgrading to it, but I am glad to see I am not the only one having issues and that I am not losing my mind completely :)

    I'm also running 15.11 and now seeing time zone = Cheturnal event though Eastern US is selected when creating in Outlook or on Webex.com directly. No iOS devices being used right now so ruling that out for us.
