Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    Indeed. I tried installing outlook again after leaving it alone for a period but thought to give it a try again when installing a new phone. I would really like to use MS apps for pretty much everything, but the lack of this feature prevents me from making it my default mail and calender app for both work and private. 

    Please, Microsoft, fix this? It can't be that hard, considering 3 other mail and calender apps I use seem to have this as standard..

    So does this mean that when I am travelling I will incur roaming charges when my emails sync? Before I would set to manual and use the hotel WiFi. If so what cost code do I use on my expenses so my company can claim these charges back from Microsoft for making a bad app worse?

    So basically we have no choice but to use our data all the time whenever Outlook decides to sync emails. 

     quite frankly, that is ridiculous, and I don't like the fact that you gave us no control.
