Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    I finally quit using Outlook and instead moved to an email app called "Nine" on Android that works even better.

    Hi, Parth P Patel. If you are still there, can you please tell me if this means that I don't need to do anything to get my mail? If my android phone is connected to the Internet, as soon as I receive an e-mail on my Outlook account, I receive it immediately on my phone and get a notification sound? That would be OK with me. Thanks for your help.

    This is clearly an issue.

    This app empties my battery by constantly refreshing. During the day, I do not need access to my emails from my cellphone since I'm working on my computer, and even at night I just need to refresh my inbox on my phone only when I actually decide to check for new messages. This option is available on every other email app for a good reason.

    Can you please follow up on this?

    You are absolutely right. This app should have a timer that we could setup according to our needs. As you say, all other email apps have this option, including the PC version of Outlook. Lets hope that soon an update of the app will include this option.
