Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    Thank you! Is there any reason why this option was removed? It would be nice to have the ability to choose sync settings again.

    Agreed.  I have no need for a constant stream of emails.  I would rather it just syncs every evening,  and save whatever minimal amount battery this wastes.  

    Frankly,  I may just uninstall and rely on the  office portal website.  The search functionality is drastically better there anyways.  

    At least the Gmail app is smart enough not to bother me with junk mail...

    What's worse is that it will automatically over-ride your sync setting if you try to turn the damn thing off! I contacted support and they said "Oops, maybe we'll fix it later in an update ". This is as of February 2016.

    Hi im using my work email on my phone which is imap. But i cant load / sync my old/ previous emails i have on my account. That i receivd before i started using the outlook Android app?

    How can i configure this ?
