Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    Hmm, I wish i was paid! :)

    Sorry to have posted my reply before experimenting it. Appears that Do Not Disturb will still sync emails in the background. Just that you wont be notified. This isnt what I expected either. It keeps bumping up the badge count when it is snoozed, which is quite annoying too.

    Hi Folks,

    Microsoft's latest update of Outlook on the app store now has a Do not Disturb feature. Moreover it can be scheduled to go in and out of snooze period. This should be good enough. 

    It definitely solves my problem. Now I can be spared of work email notifications on the weekends.

    Interestingly the Do not Disturb has a built in schedule to turn off during work hours, and I had to program my off the work hours there.

    Sorry Chethz, but it is NOT good enough at all.

    In case you had't noticed Android has had Do Not Disturb for notifications for ages, which Outlook is subject to. This is NOT an Outlook for Android feature.

    It still has NO BEARING AT ALL on the fundamental issue of no control over when Outlook syncs.

    Are you being paid by Microsoft to post this rubbish?

    Hi George,

    You're absolutely right. When I said problem "solved", I was referring to my own issue, in case it could help someone. I should have been more specific in my answer. I agree that it is a big issue the lack of syncinc interval settings on Outlook app for Android. And probably my issue (battery usage restriction set by default) has something to do with the high battery consumption of the app while syncing all the time (some others were complaining about that). Then, the syncing interval settings would help mitigate this issue as well.
