Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    I have removed the Outlook app from my android phone, and now use the native mail client which allows full control to sync according to my preferred schedule and frequency.

    My helpdesk staff are recommending tha all staff in our organisation remove the Outlook app until this is resolved.

    I have the same problem.

    I used to be able to synch all emails or specify 1 month or three months but the way it is set up now I only get 6-7 days of email.  This is completely useless for most things.

    Android or Microsoft  -  PLEASE CHANGE THIS!

    What! Years after stumbling on this problem, MS is still unwilling to add this simple feature. I do not want to be bothered by work email while I am on a vacation unless I manually want to sync and get any updates. Why is MS so adamant?

    Guys, do you really expect Microsoft to care about their customers?! None of the big companies gives a **** about user feedback or bug fixing as long (as it doesn't impact the revenue). So don't waste your energy on tracking this and move on to another mail app.
