Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    That's an incredibly disappointing answer. The inability to set intervals or to manually retrieve emails on-demand seems laughable from one of the biggest names in email exchange technologies. 

    I suppose I will look elsewhere for an app that does have these simple features.

    What! Years after stumbling on this problem, MS is still unwilling to add this simple feature. I do not want to be bothered by work email while I am on a vacation unless I manually want to sync and get any updates. Why is MS so adamant?

    Frankly, because they are idiots obsessed with chaining everyone to Windows 10 and their subscription services. Windows 10 Phone was so bad I switched to Android and found Outlook for Android EVEN WORSE!

    I'd fire the entire development team and the management responsible for choosing what to and what not to implement. They treat users (i.e. CUSTOMERS - I have both personal and work O365 Business Premium subscriptions along with and Outlook Premium) with utter contempt.

    I, like many others, have switched to alternative (free!) products (BlueMail in my case) which make Outlook look like the utter canine excrement it is....

    Your answer, though accurate, to me is unacceptable.  This needs to be addressed as it is a HUGE drain on phone batteries.

    Hi, 

    I use filters to automatically move mail to particular folders. when I open app, I need to open each folder and refresh each folder to get new mails and it is complicated. Please help me on this
