I have outlook for work on my Android. I do not wish to be on it at all times the constant notifications are an irritation. I found a post from 2013 saying that logging out on an android was not an option. Surely by now 3 years later this has been resolved.  I currently can not find the option to log out.

So typically Microsoft, your users are asking for a feature for years, you promptly ignore it, and have the grapes to say "sooo sorry for the inconvenience"

There is no way to sign out of your Outlook.com email account on a mobile device such as Android or iPhone, the only option is to remove the account from your phone. If you’re using an Android device follow these steps:

    1. Open your mail app.
    2. Tap and hold the account you want to remove until a list of options appears.
    3. Tap on “Remove Account”.

    Hi,

With regard to your concern, we realize that you want to change some settings of Outlook on your device. You can have more fine-tuned control over your push notifications settings for each of your mail accounts within our app, including whether or not you want to receive Mail Notifications for all of your emails.

    1. Open your Outlook, tap “Settings” in the bottom right corner.
    2. In Notifications under "Mail" or "Calendar", you can turn on/off and adjust push notifications for your Mail (All, Focused, or None), Calendar, and choose sounds for each.

Please note that if you turn off push notifications, Background App Refresh will also be disabled, which means that our app will not be able to fetch your emails in the background.

We're just here if you have further questions.

    Regards.
