I have outlook for work on my Android. I do not wish to be on it at all times the constant notifications are an irritation. I found a post from 2013 saying that logging out on an android was not an option. Surely by now 3 years later this has been resolved. I currently can not find the option to log out.

I don't understand why Microsoft thinks it's OK for anyone who uses my phone to be able to open my email without having to log in. This is a huge security issue. It makes the app unusable in my opinion.
Unbelievable!!! No Logout option. Irresponsible, lack of professionalism, sloppy design work .... are a few words that come to mind. There is absolutely no excuse whatsover for this. This should be fixed immediately. Then again look at Nokia and Skype when Microsoft took over. Typical Microsoft ... never listens.
What was Microsoft thinking when they designed this products? It is one of most commonsensical things you'd want to do - to sign out of your account. After making such a big deal on security and preventing users from accessing their own accounts from other devices, locations and requiring multiple layers of authentication to access the account, now there is no feature to logout of one own account? Leaving it open all the time? How stupid can that design get? It was time that Microsoft got to work and corrected this issue. Please hurry up!!!
I have deleted the Outlook app from my Tablet. It is idiotic of Microsoft to prevent logging out. The Tablet that I used is also used by others with their own accounts, obviously we want privacy for our email accounts.
Thank you for the solution. I do not see why there cannot be a sign out feature. This is very frustrating to remove it every time I want to close it out.
