I have outlook for work on my Android. I do not wish to be on it at all times the constant notifications are an irritation. I found a post from 2013 saying that logging out on an android was not an option. Surely by now 3 years later this has been resolved. I currently can not find the option to log out.

it is now 2021 and there still is no way to log out of the Android app unless you "delete" the account... this is by far the dumbest mail app I have seen so far. why the MS genius's designed a product like this is mind boggling.
All I see is DELETE ACCOUNT. Is this what I should press to sign out from my account on my mobile phone?
This is an issue on Android as well, not just Apple, but you can "force-close" the Outlook app on Android, which gives the same effect as logout, but is a very poor substitute for a normal "logout" function.
You can go to Androud settings and "force-close" the app, which is an extremely poor solution!
this is but one of 10's of reasons I only use Android products... What arrogance.
