Log out of Outlook on Android

I have outlook for work on my Android. I do not wish to be on it at all times the constant notifications are an irritation. I found a post from 2013 saying that logging out on an android was not an option. Surely by now 3 years later this has been resolved.  I currently can not find the option to log out.

    Tomorrow is October 1, 2018.Does anyone have ANY idea if or when Microsoft’s Outlook App will ever give a user the OPTION TO LOG-OUT/OFF???  I mean come on folks. It’s 2018, not 1820😐

    Solution To Log Out Outlook App!!!!!!!

    Simply go to your phone settings. Next go to apps. Search for outlook app click on it. Go to storage and clear both data and cache. Now next time whenever u get on the outlook app u can log in like normally but when u finish remember to clear data and cache. 

    I was the same searching of how to log out but simply doing that WORKED. I hope I helped a lot with the same issue

    Hey Sean P, whats up with you. Are you a lazy millennial? Thats right moron I cant log out. Maybe I should bring the device to you and you can fix it?  Let me see.. you are a liberal, hate Trump. Right? BTW my life is perfect. I am retired. Have a 4 bedroom home in NJ and 3 luxury cars. I have been married to a beautiful woman for 26 years! My two children are out of college and are both working. 

    Well I wish you the best. You will probably be living with your parents after school. Loser!!!

    @KimCrawley.  I had the same problem today and was able to sign out of my outlook account by:

    !.  Tap the calendar icon at the bottom of my android phone screen.

    1. Tap the options icon next to the date in the upper left of the screen (3 horizontal bars).
    2. Scroll down the drop down to the bottom and you will find a sign out option. 

    It worked for me on my Samsung A8. 

    Hope this helps. 

    Microsoft should be ashamed that they have made this so difficult. 

    Anything to make protecting your meta data more difficult eh?

    I've tried to do this, but I don't have the sign out option on my SAMSUNG Galaxy A (tablet)...
