All my group members have disappeared. Is there a way to retrieve them?

I have a large email database. I have many groups which HAD specific members in them.  All the individual names have disappeared from ALL of my groups.  How can they be restored without starting over and entering them again?

    After a few days, all my groups are now back.  All the folks who were in each group are where they should be.

    This is hopeful! It just happened to me today (Feb 1st, 2016) and really need the groups back for my business.

    Just happened to me today, Feb 1st, 2016. Missing contacts from the groups. Even more weird, I see Skype contacts now of the people that are my email contacts. I never used those Skype contacts but somehow they got into my groups while the email contacts disappeared. Really need the Groups back as they were before, for business.

    Hope someone from Microsoft will notice the large numbers of similar complains about contacts missing from Groups and will address this major issue. Thanks in advance for any advise!

    Great that yours reappeared but mine have been missing for a week now and I have had to start recreating them all  ..days of work.
