Office for Mac 15.21.1 and Outlook message "some of the files in this web page aren't in the expected location...."

Life prior to 15.21.1 upgrade was OK.

Could start Outlook for Mac, select new email and away I go.

Following the update to 15.21.1, every time I start a new email or reply to a new email I get the message "some of the files in this web page aren't in the expected location. do you want ot download them anyway? if you're sure the web page is from a trusted source, click yes"

I assume it's referring to my signature, which is provided to my by my employer, so I trust it :-)

After that, I keep getting annoying clicks when I type on the keyboard, or boing noises...didn't encounter this, pre 15.21.1

    In my signature it  was my company's logo image causing the problem. I deleted it and then dragged in a new one from another source (a sent email from Mail app) and it is now working with no errors.

    I was receiving this same pop-up message and it was also related to the image in my signature.

    The fix for me might seem a a little simple, but all I did was cut the image from my signature and paste it back in. I don't get the pop-up message anymore.

    Hi Leo,

    Assuming the scenario is identical;

    Outlook>Preferences>Signatures

    select the signature in use so it shows up in the right hand pane for editing

    Where there is a URL e.g. email address, right click>Hyperlink>Edit Hyperlink

    In the Edit Hyperlink pane you then see a typo error as the "text to display" field may be different to the "email address" field for example.

    For me this must of existed prior to the MS office upgrade, but the upgrade exposed it.

    FIXED!!!

    Hello All, I fixed this issue today, Outlook was upgraded but unfortunately nothing happens 😖 issue still exists!!

    In order of that I rewrote my signature using old style layout, just like I did it in my Office 2013 Windows machine, using a Table with all the rows and columns I need. 

    I place and combine cells as need it with excellent results, my signature has images + hyperlinks, now issue was solved, no new advertise or warning at all.

    That might work for hyperlinks, but the issue for most of us seems to be for graphics/pictures embedded in our signatures.  Still not working.
