I am having an issue on Outlook for Mac ver. 15.26.1 running OS Sierra
When I have Outlook in "full screen" mode and an email opened in a window and hit "reply" the entire screen goes semi-grey and when I click anywhere on screen it gets rid of the grey but it minimizes the email window. I can click on the minimized window to bring it back up and then it's fine, but it's seriously annoying and slows down my efficiency and productivity. This only happens when I have the email opened in a window and hit "reply". It does not happen when I just select the email from the inbox and hit reply from the tool bar. Anyone else having this issue?

Try clicking on the bottom grey bar when the screen is greyed out and it won't minimise the window when you click anywhere on the screen!

sorry that's not correct. It reacts on the same way. Also for replying, forwarding etc.
Please fix it at soon as possible. It is the most used function at my work.

I have the same problem and it makes me crazy. The workaround is to switch to the text body by tab. Then write a letter. If you point into the mail and the window is minimized again, use the 'x' to destroy the window. Another window will open and ask you if you want to continue. If you press continue a 'normal' mail window will open and you can continue writing - with some other problems.
I updated the mac sierra os and I updated Microsoft outlook in the experimental mode. But not one update is working. When will we get help ?

That is marginally more useful advice than telling us to use a Windows computer to avoid this bug. I keep hoping the latest release will fix it. I'm on 15.27 (161010) and still experiencing it. Please expedite a fix!

I am also experiencing exactly the same issue and it is annoying especially when you have to respond to many emails during your working day.
It is also interesting that I got another Microsoft Office update this week and now running Outlook for Mac Version 15.27 (161010) but this issue is still not fixed! I can see from previous posts that it was promised in upcoming release. Any update Microsoft?
