Hello all,
Would appreciate your thoughts on the following situation:
I just installed the Outlook App on my Galaxy S5 phone (Android 6).
When I start it, I get prompted for an email address so I enter my work email (Office 365) and after a few seconds it looks like something comes up and then get dumped back to the "Get Started" screen with the most helpful error message in human history:
"An Error Occurred"
Wow! Where to begin?
I cannot make it past this screen to access any settings or options of any kind.
Guess what - the OWA app for Android works fine, but it doesn't have WEAR capability unlike the Outlook app.
Any suggestions/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I had experienced "an error occurred" problem for one month while trying to set up an office 365 email account of my university on MS outlook on Android 6. The problem appears when I use the WiFi of my university. The problem was solved by using my mobile data.
After trying dozens of solutions without success, this is what finally worked for me :
Simply uninstall Microsoft Authenticator app !!
What a stupid bug...

It does not show any other options except log in or create new account. There is no settings option
Yes, as usual, Microsoft hasn't a clue as to what this problem is or how to fix it. Since they make money...nor do they care.
