Hello,

Outlook.com lets you edit, add, delete and rename groups. This functionality is called "Manage Groups" and can be accessed from the "Manage" drop down menu in the header when on the People page.

Outlook.com also lets you add and remove people from a group.

  1. Visit the People page
  2. Select the contacts that you want to add to a group by clicking on the checkbox next to their name in the contact list
  3. The header shows an item called "Groups"
  4. Select the group you want to add this person to and click apply.

From this menu, you can also create a new group and manage groups.

    Hi lou_995,

We apologize for any inconvenience. Let me assist you with editing your groups on Outlook.com.

We would like to check if it is a browser issue that is causing the problem that you are encountering. We advise that you optimize your browser to make sure that it isn’t contributing to this issue. This will also serve as an initial troubleshooting to clean up cookies and browsing history and also improve browser performance.

For Internet Explorer, you can simply press (Ctrl + Shift + Del) key, check all the boxes when Delete Browsing History windows pop up. Click Delete and then OK.

For other browser, please refer to this link.

If optimizing the browser does not work, get back to us with answers to these questions so we can isolate the issue.

    •             Do you receive any error message when you try to edit your groups?

    •             Does the issue also occur when you try accessing your account from the same computer using a different browser?

    •             Have you tried using a different computer?

    Thank you.

    Johan

The option to *EDIT GROUPS* (Change, Add, delete, modify, etc). is NOT working today. 12 years of HotMail Bliss, 2 months of OutHouse Misery... (did ANYONE EVER even TRY to Beta-Test this abortion)?!?!?
